Padma and Ricky are so sweet together and ever since their Bollywood style shoot and the three sisters shoot I was very much looking forward to working with their family again in documenting their engagement ceremony.

Even though I was so unbelievably sick at the ceremony, I pulled through and got some great shots.  I had to run to the bathroom a couple of times but they were all very patient with me.  Lol.  My hubby and I designed them a Bollywood themed movie poster for their guests to sign instead of a guest book.  This is something that we offer a lot of our clients so it was nice to see one through.  Padma’s Dad is a printer and he took the design in and had it professionally printed and mounted and it came out beautifully as you will see below!

 I don’t know much about Indian culture, but what I do know is that they have a fabulous time and there is a party for just about everything!  They have great food and culture and I look forward to also documenting their wedding next year!

I was so excited to do Tristan’s baby pictures once I heard he had arrived after I got back from Italy!  I did Skye’s maternity shoot (the fairy themed ones) a couple of month’s ago and to imagine this sweet little boy in there was something for sure!  He was so sweet and cute and my camera could not stop clicking away once I saw him.  I have not shot baby pictures in quite some time so I was SO ready!!!!  I hope you like the images Skye and Max!  You are all so sweet and I can’t wait to take more!

I took pictures of Christine last month in Mt. Dora and we became fast friends.  She teaches for a special needs class at Dream Lake Elementary in Apopka and she asked me if I would be interested in coming in to photograph the children since their school pictures turned out horrible.  I told her that I would LOVE to and we made the arrangements.  She told me these kids would get to my heart…and boy did they ever!!!  They had some amazing stories, some of which I would rather not share as it is too sad to hear…but they were just remarkable children to say the least.  I hate picking favorites….but well, he kind of picked me…Jaime (hi-may) was this little boy who is completely deaf and also wears a backpack that has a tube that hooks to his tummy to feed him….and he was completely mesmerized by my camera.  He was the cutest little one I have EVER seen and I wanted to take him home!  I let him press a couple of the buttons to “help” me and he could have been my little assistant he caught on so quickly.  I adored these children and when I got in the car after leaving their class I just burst into tears.  Their stories, their hearts, and these amazing teachers just affected me in ways that I could never explain.  I wish we could all have experiences like this to make you realize how good your life really is and why we do the things we do.  This will definitely not be the last time I see these little ones!!!  Thanks for inviting me Christine!

I met Timarie at the Sweetheart Sessions back in January/early February and fell in love with her look!  I keep telling her she was born in the wrong decade.  When I saw a picture of her rockabilly stylin boyfriend on the internet I told them we HAD to do a shoot!  They are totally my style and I couldn’t wait to get them in front of the camera!  We had such a great time and went to downtown Clermont on a Sunday when it was nice and quiet and we had the whole place to ourselves.  Justin brought his bass….yes a REAL bass and my jaw about hit the floor…I was STOKED!  SOOOO much fun, I can’t wait to work with them again!!!!  Love you guys!!!!

Lucy and I have been wanting to do a shoot for quite some time and we finally had the chance to do so.  She has been away at school to MIT…yes THE MIT…so we had to wait until after graduation.  Congrats Lucy!  I met her at her house in Cocoa Beach and we went off to do some great shots.  She also wanted some burlesque photos as well as bellydance and we really got into it once she got comfortable in front of the camera.  We had a great time catching up since I haven’t seen her in a few years and got some incredible shots.  I hope you like them Lucy!!

Rebecca is absolutely one of the most beautiful people I have met, both inside and out.  She asked me to join her at her 120 day maternity celebration at her home near Orlando.  As she explained to me, the Yogi’s believe that the soul of the body enters at 120 days after conception…so that’s what we were celebrating.  Some of her closest friends were there to help with the festivities, they put henna on her small 4-month grown belly, sing and chant, and drape her in flowers and gifts.  It was quite remarkable and enlightening.  Thanks for including me Rebecca and I can’t wait to take maternity pictures!!!!

Fringe Preview…Fringe PREVIEW!  Can you tell I am so excited?  This is my first Fringe this year and I am stoked that Beth Marshall has asked me to come and help document this fabulous event.  Tonight we got to see small portions….teasers as I like to call them…of some of the best Fringe has to offer.  It was entertaining to say the least.  Everything from transvestites to guys making out on stage, to Mary and Joseph holding baby Jesus, to “The 5 people you meet in porn”, to a parody of the Karate Kid.  Did I mention this festival is not for the easily offended???  It was so much fun!  I can’t wait for Fringe to start on Thursday May 14^th!!!!  Hope to see you all there!  I will be there photographing and supporting my friends, especially Marcie in “Elogies” and Don and Pam in “The Lighter Side of Suicide”.  Come out and support the arts community and say hello to the girl with the camera!
